about us - WELCOME to iCare®

iCare® will allow charities and non-profit organizations to focus more on helping those in need and less on raising funding.

We also believe that the lack of consistent, unrestricted revenue keeps many nonprofits from building infrastructure that is essential to their success.
Our Mission
iCare® is creating innovative technology-based solutions that help nonprofits find new, efficient sources of unrestricted funding.

The mission of iCare® is "Improving lives through the caring power of iTunes users"

We want to make it possible for any nonprofit of any size to benefit from donations that anyone wants to give. To achieve that mission, we are providing efficient, easy-to-use tools, and working to change the way that donors and non-profit organizations (“NPO”) alike think about philanthropy.

Fund development is the biggest obstacle NPOs face in fulfilling their missions. iCare® provides a service to the nonprofit community. iCare® is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to engaging people and resources more effectively to help solve serious problems. The organization collaborates and partners with leaders to affect real change.
Why iCare®?
The name iCare® has a trademark pending. Also the business method has a patent pending. We believe this idea would not only benefit Apple from a public relations standpoint, but also would benefit Apple financially through a small administrative fee per donation (just like royalties), and with nominal cost. iCare® would also create additional funds and awareness for both Apple and the partnering Charities. By working together this business method will revolutionize the non-profit industry. iCare® will provide humanitarian aid through financial assistance and will educate and instilling a sense of philanthropy in a vast and diverse community of iTunes users. Most importantly though, iCare® will help countless individuals.
How It Works
Listed below is the basic method for fund development:
  1. The donor logs into iTunes

  2. Instead of searching for a specific band they would search for iCare®.

  3. Rather than songs, iCare®'s "tracks" listings are charities. Instead of looking for the Rolling Stones for example and seeing the first track available to purchase, such as "Satisfaction" there would be iCare® and the first track available to purchase would be "Doctor's Without Borders" or "The Red Cross". The partnering charities are at the request of the donors and they can recommend an organization by contacting iCare®'s website. iCare® will partner with NPOs as long they can meet several criteria such as having the ability to ensure accountability and transparency.

  4. The donor buys the track (donates to the charity) just as they would any other song for $0.99

  5. Instead of receiving a music track they receive a small audio message, hopefully from a famous celebrity or musician, saying something like "Thank you! You just saved a life" or "Thank you! You just made a difference". Our longtime goal is to have musicians donate full tracks with all proceeds going to the associated charities.

  6. Apple deducts a small administration fee just like they would a royalty from other purchases.

  7. The revenue comes to iCare® which we then distribute to respective charities after taking out a small administrative fee. iCare®'s intent is sincere and pure. iCare®'s sole desire is to create a method in which people could feel empowered, educated, and secure enough to join a community of likeminded donors.

  8. iCare® will follow-up with the charities to see how the funds have been used and will report back to the donors in order to demonstrate to them that their gift did make a difference.
